I feel as though albums usually only tell one part of the story: the end. It might be this way because the artist and/or label only wants you to see a polished product, or maybe because it’s a time honored tradition that folks don’t want to deviate from. Well I believe that there is a place for tradition and a place for change. I have included this outro because I wanted you all to know more of the story, where these songs started and where they ended up. Some of these songs started in different keys and tempos, and have unfinished melodies being sung with unclaimed vowels. Some of these songs started almost all the way developed and ready to be recorded. The process is beautiful and I’m stoked to share some of it with you.
